Taurus First introduced the Spectrum at SHOT Show 2017 and I think they knew at the time that the firearm was not ready. Though I am not going to hold this against Taurus, many firearms manufacturers have been doing this of late and have had to recall quite a few firearms.
I have yet to shoot the spectrum but I find myself intrigued by the design. having field stripped the pistol and looking into the mechanical workings of this little pistol I quite like it. the color options has been a sore spot for quite a few people in the industry, of course not just from Taurus, But coloring firearms in general. Personally, if this is what it takes to get folks to exersize their second amendment right so be it.
